TOPIC: WHY BE NORMAL?
SCRIPTURE: Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. Isaiah 8:18
THOUGHT: One tragedy among children of God today is normal existence. It has been confirmed that one tragedy among children of God today is normal existence. Many years ago, we did a sticker in church titled, “Why be normal?” That is not just a sticker, but a message. The children of God are not expected to live ordinary lives but supernatural life. As a child of God, there should be something in your life that should differentiate you from unbelievers. You are expected to carry a stamp of Divine Aura. Beloved, when was the last time someone looked at you and saw a connection between you and Jehovah? You see, God is looking for a generation of people that will pass by the roadside and something would change. I know a man who was born in the house of animals, but on the day of his birth, there was party in heaven to the point that shepherds heard it. Star gazers saw his “Destiny Star” and came to worship him. He was not an ordinary man. Whenever he moved, he was revival in motion. “Something” was flowing from His body that made people struggle to touch His cloth. The people knew there was something different about this wonderful man of Galilee. A woman who had an issue of blood for twelve (12) years touched him and she was made whole (Matthew 9:20-22). His name is Jesus Christ! And this same Jesus Christ lives in you. But the question is, why is your own life normal despite the presence of this life-changing Jesus Christ in you? You must make up your mind to live an extra-ordinary life. Make up your mind not to be normal in your generation.
Remember this: One tragedy among children of God today is normal existence.

- Resist every form of natural and normal living.
- Make up your mind to be a true representation of the personality and power of Jesus Christ on earth.
PRAYER: Father, I ask that You make me to be a representation of Jesus Christ on earth. I receive the grace to manifest Your Power, LORD, in Jesus’ Name.
