TOPIC: THE POWER OF THE WORD

SCRIPTURE: According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 2 Peter 1:3

THOUGHT: The Word of God is key to supernatural living. The Word has great things to offer a child of God. The Word of God is the life of God, and as we access the Word of God, we access the life of God. Our anchor Scripture reveals that the Word of God offers Divine Power, Glory and Virtue. So, through His knowledge or the knowledge of the Word, we have power, glory and virtue. And the summary of power, glory, and virtue is called supernatural existence. The Word of God is key to supernatural living. This is living above nature, and living above the ordinary. Anyone who is accurately in touch with the Word of God must escape the natural and encounter the supernatural. The Word of God makes you live a life of adventure with the touch of divinity. You become too connected to a supernatural God to live an ordinary life.

Look at this: Your life was designed to be an attraction to your world; people are expected to see the life of God through you. As you walk on the road, people are expected to notice that there is something different about you. At your place of work, or where you live, people are expected to observe an unmistakeable Presence around you. There are supposed to lack words to explain something about you that is different from others. The Shunamite woman said to her husband in 2 Kings 4:9, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.’ Look at what she said, ‘I perceive.’ Did she say that someone told her that he (Elisha) was a man of God? No! She seemed to say, “I am perceiving something about this man. Something tells me that this is a holy man of God. I have seen men pass but this one is different, something is different about him.” Beloved, this is how to live. Make up your mind to live differently and impactfully in your generation.

Remember this: The Word of God is key to supernatural living.

ASSIGNMENT:

1. Make up your mind to give yourself wholly to the study of the Word to access its treasures.
2. Pray the Word always into your life.

PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to study Your Word consistently. Make me a sign and a wonder in my world, LORD, in Jesus’ Name.
