Living At Your Best In Times Like This

TOPIC: LIVING AT YOUR BEST IN TIMES LIKE THIS

SCRIPTURE: Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. Ecclesiastes 9:10.

THOUGHT: People who live at their best get the best of life in any season of life. It is a known fact that progress in life is achieved by the instruction from situations. Everything in life is saying something. Solomon, in Proverbs 6:6, says, Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: This means that the ant can also teach. There are series of challenges in our nation today. The cost of almost everything seems to be on the increase. Despite the state of the economy, there are instructions God wants to pass across to us because a wise man says that the things that hurt also instruct. So, everywhere there is pain, there is also an instruction. Now, one instruction for you at such a time and season like this is, Live at your best.

The first instruction for this season is, live at your best. Give out your best in life consistently. Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. People who live at their best get the best of life in any season of life. So, the best thing to do in this season is to live at your best so you can see the best of God out of any situation of life. Refuse to hold anything back. Sometime back, I heard that someone asked John Wesley, “If you have only one more day to live, what would you like to do differently?” Then he replied, “Nothing! Everything I should have been doing with my life is what I am doing right now.”No wonder he impacted his generation in very drastic ways. My counsel to you in this season is, decide never to live below the best of who you are. Never live below the best of your capacity. Live at your best.

Remember this: People who live at their best get the best of life in any season of life.

ASSIGNMENT:

  1. Refuse to be discouraged despite the challenges of the season.
  2. Make up your mind to deploy the best out of you in this season.

PRAYER: Father, I receive encouragement from Your Word in this season. I receive the grace to deploy my best, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
