YOUR CHARACTER AND YOUR DESTINY

SCRIPTURE: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat…Daniel 1:8

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Where your character stops, there your destiny ends.

It has been established that character determines destiny; a man’s character determines where he will end on earth and in eternity. Your character can either assist or resist your destiny.

Many years ago, I came across a study about the fox. You know the Scripture reveals that Samson caught three hundred foxes and put fire on their tails and sent them into the standing corns of the Philistines to set it on fire.

When I read this, I became curious, and I asked, “Why the fox?”

Then, I realized that the fox is a member of the dog family. In the dog family, there is the domestic dog, the bear, the wolf, the jackal, the dingo and the rest. But it was the fox Samson chose for this assignment.

From my findings, I discovered that, apart from intelligence, the fox has more integrity than the other species of dogs. The fox behaves like the eagle.

This means, if you are to carry out an assignment for the kingdom, if you are to rise from the pit to the top, you need solid character and integrity. Characterlessness is the reason for the collapse of destiny. Where your character stops, there your destiny ends. It doesn’t matter the potential you carry, if you lack character you lack destiny.

Remember this: Where your character stops, there your destiny ends.
