TOPIC: SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING

SCRIPTURE: But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. James 4:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Most times, what appears like nothing is critical to the fulfilment of destiny and kingdom impact.

History has it that there was a time Katherine Kuhlman, the great healing evangelist, made a terrible mistake at a point in her lifetime. She married a man that divorced his wife. Everyone began to call her husband snatcher. Immediately, invitations for ministration crashed all the way down. Nobody wanted to have anything to do with her anymore. She said that with all the anointing on her life, everywhere appeared locked.

But she said something happened one day. She was walking on a street and realized that the street was a close, leading to nowhere further. And at the end of that street which she called a dead end, she stood in frustration and depression, and told God, “Lord, I am at the end of myself. I don’t even know what to do with my life. I feel like I am nothing right now, and if you have ever used any ‘nothing’ before, please take this ‘nothing’ and use for your glory.”

And God heard her and picked that ‘nothing’ and that ‘nothing’ shook her world – wheelchairs emptied, blind eyes opened, deaf ears opened, the dumb spoke, etc. because she presented herself as ‘nothing’, and God picked the ‘nothing’ and turned that ‘nothing’ into a generational wonder.

Most times, what appears like nothing is critical to the fulfilment of destiny and kingdom impact.

Beloved, maybe you think you have nothing, maybe you also think you are nothing, I congratulate you because God is a specialist in taking nothings and turning them into somethings.

Remember this: Most times, what appears like nothing is critical to the fulfilment of destiny and kingdom impact.

1. Ask God for the grace to be humble or remain humble irrespective of your potential or graces.
2. Refuse to live or act independent of God; allow God to take the lead in everything you do; just follow.
3. Never think all hope is lost. Never give up!
