TOPIC: THE VOICE OF GOD – A SECRET TO EXPLOSIVE FAITH

SCRIPTURE: We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

2Thessalonians 1:3

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The voice of God is an exploder of faith. 

It has been established that faith is a non-negotiable factor in the life of every child of God. Our survival, victory and exploits in life are anchored on our faith. Habakkuk 2:4 validates this: …but the just shall live by his faith. So, the quality and durability of a person’s life on earth are determined by their faith.

Now, if faith is crucial to life, it is important to know what it takes to have a buoyant faith.

Our anchor scripture says, …Your faith groweth exceedingly….

In other words, “Your faith has experienced an explosive growth.” So, it is possible to have an exploded faith; faith can be amplified. Faith is like fire that can be fueled unto an inferno by certain factors or forces. It is like a spiritual reaction that can be catalyzed unto drastic results by some forces or factors. Faith is also like dynamite that can be detonated unto explosion by certain factors or forces.

In today’s study, we shall be looking at one of the factors that can explode our faith, and that is the Voice of God.

The Voice of God is an exploder of faith; it is a fuel for faith. The Voice of God is a catalyst, a detonator that can explode faith.

In Exodus 2:15, Moses was on the run from Pharaoh. This same Moses who was so afraid of Pharaoh that he ran for his life had his fear extinguished by the Voice of God in an encounter at the burning bush (Exodus 3:4-12). That fear died and faith was birthed for him to go back and confront the same that he ran away from.

Moses’ encounter with the Voice of God in Exodus 3:3-7 changed everything. In verse 10 of the same chapter, God told him, Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

That was the voice Moses needed. Moses knew that God would use him for Israel. He attempted activating that assignment by his own power and failed. But all he needed was one Voice, and when he heard that Voice, the faith to confront and collapse Pharaoh exploded in him (Exodus 4:18-23).

Beloved, all we need for a total transformation is the Voice of God. All we need for an explosive faith for generational exploits is the Voice of God. The Voice of God will turn a chicken-hearted person into a lion-hearted person.

The Voice of the Lord is powerful. The Voice of the Lord is full of majesty (Psalm 29:4). The Voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire (Psalm 29:7). That is, you can dare flames of fire if you hear His Voice.

Some time ago, I saw myself in the dream surrounded by people who wanted to attack themselves, not me. They were about to rush at me. And I was about to rush at them. Suddenly, someone stood by me, and said to me, “Step aside!” I stepped aside and he moved his hand once or twice, and all the attackers were on the floor. I asked him, “Who are you sir? and he said, I am the angel sent to fight your battles.

From that moment, I am too aware that there is no threat from hell that can scratch my skin.

Beloved, you are about to hear that Voice that will explode your faith and cause you to dare whatever is trying to confront you.

Remember this: The voice of God is an exploder of faith.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

1. In every situation you find yourself, ask God, “What are you saying, Lord?”
2. As you study the Word of God pay attention to His Voice: there is always a Voice in every verse of the Scripture.
3. Believe and run with whatever God says to you.

PRAYER: Lord, open my ear to hear Your Voice, and cause my faith to explode so I can command incredible results to the glory of Your Name, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
