He Died So You Can Live

MONDAY 22^ND SEPTEMBER 2025

 TOPIC: HE DIED SO YOU CAN LIVE

 SCRIPTURE: That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none. John 18:9

 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: He died young so you can live long.

 It has been established that the Cross of Calvary was and still is the junction of exchange of man’s worst for God’s best. The Cross became the Humano-Divinity junction where the Son of God became the Son of man and made it possible for sons of men to become sons of God. It is a crossover junction where people bound for hell can change direction to heaven.

On the Cross, Jesus took our hurts and pains so we can take His health. He took our wretchedness so we can take His blessedness. His bleeding was our blessing.

Today, we shall explore another form of exchange that took place on the Cross of Calvary:

 Jesus took our place in death so we can take his place in life. He died our death so we can live His Life. He died so we can live the Life He should have lived.

In John 18:8-9, when they came to arrest Jesus, He answered them, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way: That is, “The only condition I would surrender myself to be arrested is that none of these my followers would be arrested to die with me.” Verse 9 says, That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

Beloved, Jesus surrendered Himself to die young so you can live long. So, don’t bow cheaply to any demon or force of death. Jesus temporarily accepted to be a man because of the price He had to pay, the death He had to die. He tasted death for every man (Hebrews 2:9). He died your death so you can live His Life. He died young so you can live long.

Beloved, it does not matter how surrounded you are by the forces of death, it does not matter how many times death attempted you; you are not permitted to die before your time by virtue of Calvary. And you can make that decision and enforce it. Stand on this revelation and determine that nothing is permitted to take you out of this world before your time.

I declare that any arrow of death fired at you or your loved ones is refired back to senders, in Jesus’ Name. You are preserved!

Remember this: He died young so you can live long.

ASSIGNMENT (S):

1. Declare life to your body always.
2. Resist every threat of death from affliction or agents of the devil; never keep quiet.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You because my life is in Your Hands. No devil or affliction can take me out of this world before my time. I must fulfil my days, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
