From Pressure To Power

TOPIC: FROM PRESSURE TO POWER

SCRIPTURE: And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.  Acts 4:33

 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Who surrounds you determines what you can survive.

It has been confirmed that moving from pressure to the realm of power is a possibility.

Throughout scripture, we see men and women who passed from seasons of great pressure and danger to seasons of unusual fire and power. Acts 4:1-33 shows us how the apostles were imprisoned and threatened never to speak in the Name of Jesus anymore. From that point of danger, intimidation and threat, they moved to the realm of power, fire and grace according to Acts 4:33.

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

In 1 Samuel 17, we also see how David passed from pressure to power. For David, Goliath was just a bridge to national power and prominence. Goliath was a threat and danger to everyone else, but without the same Goliath, no one would have heard about David. Goliath was the bridge to David’s next level. He was indirectly the lifter of David’s life and destiny.

Beloved, you may be going through a season of intense pressure; you too can move from that pressure to the realm of power and dominion.

Now, what is the secret of passing from pressure to power? Today, we shall look at one of the secrets, and it is to Remain in the company.

The apostles remained in the assembly of the brethren when they were facing the pressure of persecution. Acts 4:23 says, And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.

Beloved, remain in the assembly of the saints because your company affects your destiny. Your company affects your security. Who surrounds you determines what you can survive. Remain in the company, because to stand alone is to die alone. Whenever the devil wants to destroy a person, he isolates the person. Anytime the devil wants to ruin a person, he removes valuable, and profitable people from his life, and makes him empty and vulnerable.

Beloved, if you want to pass from the realm of pressure to the realm of power, never allow any temptation to take you out of the company of the saints.

Remember this: Who surrounds you determines what you can survive.

ASSIGNMENT (S):

1. Refuse to be discouraged or offended away from church.
2. Always lend a helping hand to anyone who is passing through a season of challenges, especially among the brethren.
3. Join a service unit in church and be active in a cell fellowship.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for the quality of people You have positioned around me. I refuse to be trapped by the pressure of life. I walk in the realm of power and dominion, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
