TOPIC: CHARGE YOUR INNER MAN

SCRIPTURE: For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

2 Corinthians 4:16

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your inner man has the responsibility of managing the adversities of life.

We are in one of the most crucial times in the history of the world. The Bible calls it perilous times. It is a strength reducing time (2Timothy 3:1).

Now, at a time like this, one of the important things to do is the daily renewal of the inward man. The truth is, people faint in life when the inward man is unrenewed and empty. It does not matter what happens around you, it does not matter how your physical emotions respond, if you can take care of the inner man, the inner man will take care of the outer man.

It is only when you are charged that you can take charge. The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to have an external man that is feeling downcast, stressed, and strained, and an inner man that is also empty.

Beloved, the condition of your inner man determines the welfare of your outer man. The condition of your inner man affects the situation of your outer man. Proverbs 18:14 says, The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear? This implies that your inner man is the first responder to the challenges of your life. Your inner man has the responsibility of managing the adversities of life. It is wired to handle challenges but when the spirit itself is broken or diseased, what is the destiny of such a man? That is why your inner man must be charged irrespective of what happens to the outer man.

Beloved, what you do with your spirit determines your capacity to handle the challenges of life.

Remember this: Your inner man has the responsibility of managing the adversities of life.

ASSIGNMENT (S):

1. Feed your spirit daily with the Word of God and charge it up praying in the Spirit.
2. Guard your heart against the filthy things the world is throwing at you.

 PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to grow my spirit. Help me to consistently walk in the realm of victory in every aspect of life, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
