TOPIC: BEWARE WHAT YOU THINK!

SCRIPTURE: For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man… Matthew 15:19-20

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you don’t want to act it, then don’t think it.

Our anchor scripture confirms that it is thought that fuels action, and action determines manifestation. The Scripture says, For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts; and these evil thoughts flow into murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, etc. So, thought is powerful. To think it now is to act it later. To think it now is to act it with time. To think it now is to manifest it with time. The point is, if you don’t want to act it, then don’t think it.

For instance, people who commit suicide does so after they have thought about it for a while; they must have calculated all the options. They entertained depressive thoughts for a while: “Why am I alive? What is life all about? Is God even aware that I exist?” And then they keep thinking such depressive thoughts until one devil says, “Just end it. Take your life.”

So, thought fuels action, and action proceeds to manifestation, and determines outcome. Action also determines reaction. For instance, a person’s thought can move him to act in a criminal way, then he gets the outcome or consequence of it by ending in jail. A person’s thought can usher him or her into immorality, stealing and other destructive vices.

Beloved, beware what you allow into your heart. Beware what you think about. If the outcome of a thought is not what you desire, don’t entertain such thought. If you don’t want to manifest it with time, then don’t think it.

Remember this: If you don’t want to act it, then don’t think it.

ASSIGNMENT (S):

1. Plead the Blood of Jesus over your mind.
2. Stay away from associations, sounds, pictures, etc. that can sway your mind into evil thoughts.
3. Immediately eject unhealthy thoughts that want to settle in your mind.
