SCRIPTURE: Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; Acts 17:26.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To live recklessly is to end regretfully.
In the course of my medical practice, before entering into full time Ministry, I had one particularly painful experience. It happened while I was on a call duty precisely on a Christmas Eve at the teaching hospital in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. A young man was brought into the Accident and Emergency Unit dead.
This young man was riding a motorcycle in the night, his motorcycle had no head lamp, it has no functional brake, and in addition, he was dead drunk.
What a tragedy!
It was possible that he lived like this before and he got through with it, but on this particular day, he became a victim.
While riding the motorcycle that had no light and brake in the night in a drunken state, he had a head-on collision with an oncoming Mercedes Benz car, and died on the spot.
He was brought in dead to the Accident and Emergency Unit of the hospital smelling of alcohol. He was a dead body smelling of alcohol. Thus, he drank liquid hell (alcohol) to assist him end his journey in hell fire. He was taken straight to mortuary.
What a loss!
He had lost in time and then lost in eternity. In time, he had no time left, and in eternity, he was in for eternal damnation in hellfire.
Beloved, life is a game. Please don’t play the game of life to lose. In everything you do, ask yourself, “Am I gaining anything out of this? Is what I am gaining worth what I am going to lose?”
Do not live to lose in time and in eternity; live to gain in life and gain in eternity. To live recklessly is to end regretfully. Do not live to lose.
Remember this: To live recklessly is to end regretfully.

DAILY READING: Psalm 58-60.
AMAZING FACT: Yawning is actually a reaction that sends more oxygen to your brain. Reptiles, birds, and mammals all yawn and it’s controlled by neurotransmitters in the brain.
PROPHETIC WORD (DECLARATION): You shall not be the victim of sudden destruction in Jesus Name. Grace to live thoughtfully and profitably, receive, in Jesus Name.
