SCRIPTURE: This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. Isaiah 43:21

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Genuine praise and worship is giving God the full permission to run your life.

One act of worship and praise to God is the total surrender of one’s life to God. The consciousness of being owned by God is an act of worship.

Now, the consciousness of being formed and owned by God is what makes you consult God at the place of prayer when you wake up in the morning. This consciousness makes you not to enter into any kind of venture or business in life without consulting God.

The one who knows that he has been formed and owned by God does not make choices in life carelessly.

Knowing that you have been formed by God and for God and allowing Him to dictate every step of your life is an act of worship.

For example, I studied Medicine to become a medical doctor but the Owner of my life asked me to take the microphone and preach the gospel and I agreed. This is an act of worship.

When it was time for marriage, God showed me whom to marry and how to go about it. And I obeyed – another act of worship.

So, genuine praise and worship is realising that you were not formed for yourself and that God formed you for Himself. Genuine praise and worship is giving God the full permission to run your life. To praise God is to allow Him run your life just as people run businesses. The Person who formed you for Himself is the Person who is supposed to run your life.

Remember this: Genuine praise and worship is giving God the full permission to run your life.

1. Always know that you are formed and owned by God.
2. Release yourself totally to God as an act of worship.

PRAYER: Lord, I release and surrender my life to You. Take over and direct all areas of my life so that my Worship of You can be complete, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: Spend time in communion – worship, daily prayer and fellowship – if you want to uphold godly character. Culled from “WHO ARE YOU?” by Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: Our eyes remain the same size as they were at birth, but our nose and ears never stop growing.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The LORD perfect all that concerns you in Jesus’ Name.
