THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your depth of spirituality will affect your height of leadership.

It has been established that everyone is expected to exercise a measure of leadership in one way or the other.

As a person, you are first a leader of yourself, then of your family, friends and colleagues. Leadership is about the influence you exert on people.

Now, one secret of quality leadership is quality spirituality. Spirituality is the taproot of leadership. Leadership has no greater source beyond the spiritual. Thus the stronger your spiritual root, the stronger your leadership force. Your depth of spirituality will affect your height of leadership.

Let me give you some Scriptural Examples:
i. At creation, God, the Supreme Spiritual Force gave to mankind a leadership mandate.
In Genesis 1:28, “Be fruitful” means reproduce yourself. Multiply those you have reproduced. “Replenish the earth” means, fill up the earth with those you have multiplied.

So, it is all a leadership mandate and the root of it is spiritual.

ii. The most spiritual Person who ever existed is the leader of all leaders, His Name is Jesus Christ.
The most spiritual person who ever lived is the leader of all leaders. He picked twelve ordinary people and transformed them into people who turned the world upside down. They sparked a revolution that nothing and no one was able to stop. That is leadership (Acts 17:6).

My counsel is, make up your mind to develop your spiritual roots in God so you can be a quality leader on earth.

Remember this: Your depth of spirituality will affect your height of leadership.
