THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The vision of today is the reality of tomorrow.

Vision is the forerunner of reality. The vision of today is the reality of tomorrow. And the realities of today are products of the visions of yesterday. It is also true to say that the “visionlessness” of today is the emptiness of tomorrow.

This means, one way to realize your tomorrow or destiny is to conceive a vision today.

So, to begin with vision is to end with reality. Let me give you an example: In July 2007, we used the Abuja National Stadium for our all-night meeting, the Worship and Wonders Night. The crowd was quite massive. We used the stadium again in the months of August and September that same year. During the September meeting, it rained, and that affected the people.

However, after the September all-night, the government decided not to give the stadium to church for use again. So, I told the people that since the government would not allow us to use the stadium again, we would build our own stadium, a massive structure with a roof so that people won’t be exposed to the rains. That was vision!

I went ahead and called some architects in church. I told them to design a structure that is bigger than the stadium; a structure with a roof, but without a single pillar in the middle. I gave them the picture of what I wanted.

Within a short time, they came back with about six different designs, and I chose the design that was used for building the Glory Dome as it is now. Today, the Glory Dome is a reality. It was once a vision, but it is now a reality. So, the vision you conceive today is your reality tomorrow.

Beloved, if you want to have an enviable tomorrow, you need to conceive a vision today.

Remember this: The vision of today is the reality of tomorrow.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Refuse to live a visionless life today so you don’t end up with emptiness tomorrow.
2. Ask God to give you a solid vision that will guarantee your positive reality tomorrow.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from the emptiness of “visionlessness.” Give me a solid vision that will guarantee a solid destiny for me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
