SCRIPTURE: And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; Genesis 18:17
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The closer you get to God at the place of prayer, the more of His Will and Mind you will know concerning your life.
Prayer is a potent weapon in the life of the child of God. Through prayer, we can move mountains in life. The altar of prayer is a spiritual platform for God’s intervention in the situations of our life.
Now, one other critical thing prayer does is that it gives you the opportunity to know God’s Mind and Will for your life.
The closer you get to God at the place of prayer, the more of His Will and His Mind you will know concerning your life. You will know what God wants you to do as you spend time with Him at the place of prayer.
For instance, before God would destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, He told Abraham;
And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; Genesis 18:17
The place of prayer is the place where the secrets of God are made known to men. What God wants you to do with your life; what He wants you to do in your business, career, profession, or vocation, is made known to you at the place of prayer. So, the more prayerful people are; the greater their access to the Will of God for their lives.
Habakkuk 2:1says,
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me…
The opportunity to know the Mind of God is available at the place of prayer. So, prayerful people have greater access to the Will and Mind of God for their lives than others.
Remember this: The closer you get to God at the place of prayer, the more of His Will and Mind you will know concerning your life.
