THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Divine direction or guidance is one of the greatest assets in life.

Guidance from God is critical to life and destiny fulfilment. Direction from God leads to fulfilment in life and destiny. It takes Divine direction to fulfil destiny. No wonder, Divine direction or guidance is one of the greatest assets in life.

Now, let me give you some key facts why Divine guidance is necessary.

1. Divine guidance or direction is the guarantee of destination in life.

Divine direction guarantees destination. If you are going to reach where God wants you to reach in life and not miss the road, you must be divinely directed and guided. It was Divine guidance that led the children of Israel to the Promised Land (Exodus 13:21-22).

The greatest achievement of anyone on earth is to reach where they are meant to reach in life, and that is a function of Divine direction.

2. Divine guidance or direction is key to distinction in life.
   Divine guidance makes a person stand out in life. Divine guidance prevents a life of failure and mediocrity.

Isaiah 60:1 says: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
Light refers to direction. Light brings distinction.

3. Divine guidance is the guarantee of Divine provision.
   Psalm 23:2 says:
   He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

There are people struggling in business because of following a wrong direction. They do business where they have no business. But Divine direction will lead you to the place of your consignment, the place of your resources and supplies.

Today, I decree that you shall be divinely directed and guided through life to fulfil your purpose for existence in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: Divine direction or guidance is one of the greatest assets in life.

1. Ask God to direct your path in life.
2. Wait for Divine direction before taking any step in life.

PRAYER: Father, I ask that You direct my paths in life. Deliver me from the pathway of destruction due to lack of direction, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
