SCRIPTURE: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To know your source is to be successful in life; to recognize your origin is to fulfil your destiny.

It is very important to know that mankind was created to look like God; man originated from God.

You know, source determines success; origin determines destiny. To know your source is to be successful in life; to recognize your origin is to fulfil your destiny. This means, when you recognize God as your Source and Origin in life, your success or destiny fulfilment is guaranteed.

Let me give you examples to illustrate this fact: An eaglet (baby eagle) does not struggle to fly; a cub (baby lion) does not struggle to roar and a calf (baby elephant) does not struggle to be big. This is because each of these animals has the gene of their parents in them; they could fly, roar and increase in size effortlessly because they carry the nature of their parents in them.

Now, just as the eaglet does not struggle to fly, the cub does not struggle to roar and the calf does not struggle to be big; as a child of The Great God, there is a seed of greatness in you; you should not struggle to be great in life; you cannot struggle to live in the realm of authority, distinction and excellence.

So, it is important to be consciously aware that there is a potential of great destiny, excellence and distinction in you because you originated from a great God. You are destined to live in the realm of authority, distinction and excellence because your Source is the God of excellence and distinction; you are designed for the top because God, Who is your Source, is called the MOST HIGH.

REMEMBER THIS: To know your source is to be successful in life; to recognize your origin is to fulfil your destiny.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Remain connected to your Root and Source (God).
2. Make up your mind to live like your Maker.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for the revelation of Your Word to me today. I ask that You draw me closer to You so I can live like You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
