SCRIPTURE: He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. Luke 1:53.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Early satisfaction is a product of distance from God; when you camp with God, you will remain hungry and humble.
Some time ago, someone asked me a question: “Sir, why is it that with everything you have seen – the breakthroughs and the explosions, you still feel very hungry and passionate for God? There are people who have not seen so much in life, yet they are already satisfied.”
In reply, I said to him, “It is distance from God that makes people satisfied without God.”
I told him that when people began to see things from God’s perspective, they would realize that they have not yet started.
I made him to understand that there was no problem or issue that Jesus couldn’t tackle when He was on earth. He raised all the dead people He met.
Today, the plague of death is rampant, but Jesus Christ did not conduct one funeral; rather, he raised the dead.
Jesus Christ, in John 20:21, said, “…Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.”
We have not seen the tiniest proportion of the results Jesus Christ saw, so why should we feel we have arrived?
Satisfaction is a product of distance from God. But when you camp with God, you will remain hungry and humble.
It is distance from God that makes people raise their shoulders. We wouldn’t raise our shoulders if we are able to see things from God’s perspective.
Beloved, it is advisable for us to relax, calm down, and drop our shoulders.
As a Ministry, I have always reminded myself and our people that we haven’t started yet. We are just rehearsing to start.
This is the mindset you must maintain to go up in life.
Remember this: Satisfaction is a product of distance from God; when you camp with God, you will remain hungry and humble.
